One of the gems in Laramie County, the Archer Events Center, offers a diverse range of activities that cater to everyone. There's something for every interest and age group, from craft shows, community events, and Laramie County Fair activities to concerts and private events.
I had no idea of the scope of the operation until I met with the Event Director, Dan Ange, and his energetic and enthusiastic staff. While there, we discussed the budget, recent expansion projects, and his vision for the future.
One thing I believe is essential to the quality of life in Laramie County is our ability to engage families, especially the community's youth, and the Events Center does that in spades.
I have a soft spot for the Events Center. I've witnessed the staff's unwavering dedication and hard work as they host the Laramie County Fair each year. Their commitment is admirable and makes me feel deeply connected to this community.
Our granddaughter loves the fair and showing her FFA goats. It is a wonderful experience to see all the FFA youth from the area come together in one location to compete and proudly show their livestock. The smiles on their faces are contagious.
