Concerns About the Condition of County Roads

During this election cycle, I've had the privilege of meeting with many rural residents who have shared their concerns about the condition of our county roads. I deeply empathize with these concerns, having experienced the challenges firsthand as a rural patrol sergeant.

As a candidate, I've had the opportunity to meet with the Public Works Director. She and her staff are already working on this issue. I deeply respect her and her plans to address the issues she is facing, including training her newer staff with experienced motor grader operator trainers, teaching the latest road construction and maintenance techniques, and implementing a new data system to track road work and maintenance.

While I was impressed with her plans, it became clear that she could not address this issue alone. She urgently needs the support and resources necessary for a long-term solution. If elected as your next commissioner, I'm committed to working alongside the public works director to improve the condition of our county road infrastructure.

The last day to vote is August 20th. Vote Don Hollingshead for your next county commissioner and get someone who is willing to listen to you and find ways to improve Laramie County.
