For the past four years, the Laramie County Community College Clay Fine Art Gallery, located in the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium (AUD), has been hosting the Laramie County School District #1 Art Exhibition. This year, art students from East, Central, South, and Triumph high schools showcased more than 100 pieces in the 900-square-foot gallery.
The artwork displayed was a true reflection of our young adult's creativity, from pottery and pencil drawings to watercolor and acrylic paintings. The talents of the district's art students were on full display. I had the pleasure of attending the exhibition reception on March 13th, along with scores of other Laramie County residents. The pieces will continue to be a part of our community during gallery hours until March 28th.
