Last night, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce committee emailed me, "We are thrilled to announce that you have been selected to receive the prestigious Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Reverse Endorsement for the upcoming 2024 election. This endorsement is a testament to your unwavering commitment to our community and the values that drive our city forward."
Their endorsement is not just recognition but a significant validation of my commitment to Laramie County. I am deeply humbled and grateful to the Chamber committee for investing their time in reading the candidates' survey questions and interviewing them.
What is a reverse endorsement, you ask? This explanation is from the Chamber's website:
Reverse Endorsements provide the business community the best way to identify business friendly candidates for office.
Every campaign season, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce provides its members with reverse endorsements that serve as a guide to identifying business friendly candidates. The reverse endorsement process includes a survey of candidates and all answers are available to the business community. If a candidate’s response does not align with the business communities views, the candidate simply does not receive the
Chamber’s reverse endorsement.
Thank you!
